Reconciliation checker

Our ledger against the provider's settlement report, matched by reference in Lua running in your browser. Six discrepancies are planted. Edit an amount, currency or status and the verdicts re-run as you type.

Sample data: fictional orders, fictional provider, fictional fees (2.9% + 0.30). Amounts are stored as integer cents, so no float rounding can hide a one-cent gap.

Booting the Lua engine…

Why this matters

A provider saying "approved" is not the source of truth; it is one side's claim about one moment. Money problems surface later, when your own ledger is matched line by line against what the provider actually settled: missing captures, double charges, refunds the provider never saw, a cent lost to rounding.

So amounts stay in integer cents, every reference gets exactly one verdict with a reason a person can act on, and the match is a pure function: run it twice on the same files and you get the same answer.

Fetched from the same file the engine just mounted, not a copy. The rest of the file is table UI that renders these results.
